Carmichael’s Barktoberfest is Back!

Back for another year after the huge success of previous festivals, Carmichael’s Barktoberfest has quickly become the Top Dog of pet-friendly fall events! This fur-friend inspired festival, presented by Carmichael Parks Foundation and Carmichael Recreation and Park District, will once again take over Carmichael Park, bringing together hundreds of local residents, families, businesses, and—of course—their pets.

Get ready for a tail-wagging good time with:

• Doggy-and-me games & activities
• Exciting demonstrations 
• A pumpkin patch
• Local pet-friendly vendor booths
• Music & food trucks
• Pet adoptions from local rescues
• And our crowd-favorite Pet Costume Contest

This event not only creates a paw-sitive impact for local businesses, nonprofits, and families—it also gives back! A portion of the proceeds will directly benefit the Carmichael Park Dog Park, helping our four-legged friends enjoy the community year-round.
