Elementary Basketball

Our basketball leagues focus on teaching players the fundamentals of the sport, showing good sportsmanship, and making the sport fun for all.

Location: La Sierra Community Center - Big Gym (5325 Engle Rd., Carmichael, CA 95608)

Practices & Games: Players practice on Fridays at La Sierra Community Center for one hour between 4-8pm. Parents will be notified of their child’s practice time prior to the first practice date. First practice is 1/9. Games start Saturday, 1/17.

Program Dates: 1/9/26 - 3/7/26

Program Fee: $165 (R) / $173 (NR)

Registration Dates: 11/3/25 - 12/31/25

Are you a parent looking to get involved in helping your child's sports team or maybe you're looking for a rewarding way to give back to youth in the Carmichael community? Carmichael Recreation and Park District would love your help! We'll provide all the necessary training to make sure you and your team have a fun experience while teaching and learning the fundamentals of the game.
