Pickleball Courts (6 -lighted) at Carmichael Park - Courts are open from dawn until 10pm

    General Pickleball Court Rules:

    • Courts are for pickleball use only.
    • No bicycles, skateboards, soccer, softball, volleyball, or other activities are allowed on the courts.
    • Only tennis shoes with non-marking soles are allowed on the courts.
    • When finished, please leave the court so others can play.
    • Private instruction and leagues are not permitted on courts without a paid reservation or CRPD written approval.
    • No food or beverage, other than water, allowed inside the fenced area.
    • No dogs on courts.
    • No smoking (including vaping), alcohol, or drug use.

    Free Play Overview:

    • Free Play (courts 1-3 and 4-6 when not reserved) is limited to 90 minutes when others are waiting.
      • Paddle Rack System Etiquette
        • Place your paddle in one of the paddle racks at the entrance of the courts, starting at position #1.
        • Game play is to be doubles only.
        • The first four players in the paddle rack will move to an open court.
        • Player waiting in the queue may offer their spot in the line to the next player in the paddle rack queue.
        • Players wishing to play together should keep their paddles together in the paddle rack queue.
        • If a player goes to a court by mistake, they may return to their position in the paddle rack queue while waiting for a court to open up.
        • All games to be played to 11, win by 2 points.
        • Players are to play a maximum of 2 consecutive games.

    Note: While certain courts are designated as first-come, first-served facilities, the District reserves the right to temporarily close or reserve any court due to maintenance, District programs, approved events, tournaments, lessons, league rentals, or other operational needs. Court availability will be reflected on the reservation calendar website (Calendar) and posted on-site whenever feasible.

    Reservation Overview:

    • Courts 4, 5, and 6 are available for reservation from  7am to 10pm.
    • Courts can be reserved for pickleball play only.
    • Reservations are $10 per hour with a two-hour minimum.
    • Reservations must be made 24 hours before the desired play time.
