Intro to Digital Photography
Ready to move beyond snapshots and start taking photos you'll be proud to share? Intro to Digital Photography is the perfect starting point for anyone looking to better understand their camera and capture more intentional, creative images. Whether you've recently purchased a camera or have owned one for years, this beginner-friendly workshop will help you gain the confidence to start shooting in manual and semi-manual modes.
Through a combination of hands-on instruction and practical demonstrations, you'll learn the essential building blocks of photography, including camera settings, exposure, composition, focus, and lighting. Your instructor will explain how the different camera controls work together and provide simple techniques you can immediately apply to improve your photos.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have a stronger understanding of your camera, the confidence to move beyond automatic settings, and the foundation needed to continue exploring photography on your own or in our multi-week photography series.
