Summer programming and events are back.  Please check out our website at and our social media outlets for updates.  If you have questions, please email


Some programming and rentals will not start at this time due to lack of staffing.  As we hire more part-time staff, we will look to get back to full operations.

These closures/cancellations remain in effect:

  • Pickleball Indoor Open Gyms
  • Tiny Tots (scheduled to re-open school-year 2021-22)
  •  Some CRPD In-Person Classes
  • CRPD District Front Office
  •  La Sierra Community Center Front Office (set to re-open July 6th)
  • July 4th Fireworks

All CRPD parks remain open for passive use.  The following park amenities/programs are open:

  •  Concerts in the Park - Performance Schedule will be released on July 1st  (Concerts start July 10th )
  •  Summer Day Camps
  • Youth Sports Camps 
  • Adult and Senior Softball, Basketball, and Volleyball
  • Tennis Courts and Disc Golf at Carmichael Park
  • Dog Park at Carmichael Park
  • Jensen Botanical Garden- parking lot gate off Fair Oaks Blvd 
  • Playgrounds
  • Sunday Farmer’s Market at Carmichael Park
  • Facility Rentals – Dependent on availability

CRPD staff strongly recommends that users follow all coronavirus-related sanitation recommendations, including using their own hand sanitizer before and after your visit to our parks and amenities. CRPD’s top priority continues to be the health and safety of all our participants, visitors, and staff. Closures and cancellations are subject to change and/or may be extended or reduced based on new and updated information.  Thank you for your support and cooperation.
