Bid Opening held on June 6, 2023

The Carmichael Recreation and Park District (CRPD) received proposals for the La Sierra Community Center Roof Coating Improvement Project for Contract #23-0004, from the following firms:

• Brazos Urethane, Inc. with a bid in the amount of $823,872
• Madsen Roofing & Waterproofing, Inc. with a bid in the amount of $338,797

CRPD Staff will perform due diligence, reviewing the bids for responsiveness.  Results will be announced within the next two weeks here on this site.

Notice  -  Request for Bid Proposals

Carmichael Recreation and Park District is seeking bid proposals from interested parties for the La Sierra Community Center Roof Coating Improvement Project.   This project is funded through the voter approved Election 2022 General Obligation Bonds, Series 2023 A-2. 

The contract consists of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary to complete the  cleaning, repairs, preparation and installation of CRFC (Carlisle Roof Foam and Coatings) SeamlesSEAL™ ULTRA Silicone 15-YEAR Silicone roof coating, OR EQUAL, on the specified wing roofs as detailed in the Construction Documents and Specifications.

There will be a mandatory pre bid walkthrough on May 23, 2023, at 10:00 am, on-site meeting in the parking lot, at La Sierra Community Center, 5325 Engle Road, Carmichael, CA 95608.
